A Little Piece of Paradise. My Happy Place!!!
05 June 2015
At the end of a recent open home at 42 & 44A Ladies Mile, Remuera, I went for a walk around the huge garden. The sun was shining and the colours of autumn were everywhere. A couple of Tuis were chasing each other around the trees.
The property offers a large assortment of trees including a huge oak, a grevillea, a ginkgo biloba, three figs, lemon trees, two feijoas, a tall red guava (which I’m told is yummy for jelly), two apples, three plums, a nashi (I hear the birds especially love this), a large grapefruit, a row of bananas, two lancewoods, several bottle brushes, lots of pittosporums and nikaus and several pohutukawa.
With a total CV of $1,430,000 this special property will give a lucky family the chance to live the dream of a having a large garden (something becoming increasingly rare in Auckland). I can’t wait for this weekend’s open homes (Saturday & Sunday 3:00 – 3:30pm) so I can head back to my happy place!
